We have a strict 24-hour cancellation / rescheduling policy.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, we reserve the right to charge your card on file 100% of the sales of the service. This policy also applies if you've booked an appointment with us within 24 hours.
If you came to your appointment but;
- Did not follow our required pre-care instructions,
- Mention to us that you can not follow our required post-care instructions,
- Failed to mention a medical contraindication on your Client Intake and Consent Form,
- Are under the influence of drugs/alcohol,
- Are sunburnt,
then we have the right to refuse service and can charge you 100% of the service's sale.
LATE -
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we have the right to refuse service and can charge your card on file 100% of the sales of the service.
NO-SHOW -
No-shows will be charged 100% of the sale of the service.
RESCHEDULING w/in 24 hours due to EMERGENCY -
We understand that life can be complicated, and sometimes things are out of our control. In situations such as emergencies or illness, please contact us as soon as possible at (808)452-5503. We will determine if the cause for rescheduling is deemed as an 'EMERGENCY.' Emergencies do not include scheduling conflicts. You will have the ability the RESCHEDULE your missed appointment (of similar or of greater value) within 30 days with no charge. You are only allowed to reschedule ONCE. However, if you fail to reschedule, we reserve the right to charge your card on file 100% of the sale of the service missed.
We reserve the right to enforce this policy at any time regardless of circumstance, Our EMERGENCY clause is to be used in cases of emergency only.
If you are habitually late, rescheduling, or canceling last minute, we reserve the right to enforce this policy and refuse future service.
We also reserve the right to refuse service without cause.
REFUNDS -
All services performed are non-refundable.
All products sold are non-refundable.
This is an appointment-only small business, therefore our availability is very limited. We are a small team of professionals who rely solely on these appointment slots to make a living. Because we believe it's necessary to receive professional skincare services regularly, we established our 'Membership Programs.' When you signed up for this program, it was implied that you'd like to build a relationship with Skin Society Hawaii! Therefore we set up pricing and benefits to reflect such a relationship with us.

Because the price for these services is at a discounted rate- there are some limitations to cancellations and refunds.

Hawaii Law-
If you receive a gift certificate for your birthday or the holidays, you may be pleasantly surprised to learn that you do not have to use it immediately. The gift certificate law provides additional protection for those who either buy or receive a gift certificate. The law states that any restaurant or other party involved in retail goods and services must honor its gift certificates for at least two years for gift certificates issued only in paper form, or at least five years for gift certificates issued in other forms, such as electronic cards or other mediums. If there is an expiration date, it must be listed on the gift certificate. Service fees, including service fees for dormancy or inactivity, are prohibited. Beginning on January 1, 2020, gift certificate issuers are required to pay customers back the remaining value of a gift certificate in cash if the gift certificate has a balance of less than $5.00. They may be redeemed for any service or product with Skin Society Hawaii.
FLASH SALE - You have ONE (1) year, 365 days, from purchase to book your appointment. (Which means your appointment must fall within 365 days after you bought this deal). ie: On August 23, 2022, you purchased our FLASH SALE MICRONEEDLING for $195, you have until August 23, 2023, to come in!
Monthly PROMOTION - Must be booked/redeemed within the month. ie: September 2022 'Hydro Glow' Facial for only $100. You must book your appointment during September 2022.
Flash Sales and Promotion may be purchased as a 'gift'. But must be redeemed per their terms.
These sales are non-refundable, with no exceptions.

Your credit card is required to HOLD your appointment. This is for scheduling purposes only. You will NOT be charged until after your appointment, and for those who've purchased a FLASH SALE, you have already paid and will not be charged anything extra. Let your esthetician know at your appointment that you'd like to redeem your FLASH SALE. Again, booking through Glossgenius is for scheduling purposes only.
