Can I wear mascara or eye makeup before my appointment?

No. Please remove ALL eye makeup before coming in. If you wear waterproof mascara, please DO NOT use it for at least 72 hours before your appointment. This can affect the perming solutions. 

Can I  wear contact lenses during the lift?

No. Please remove contact lenses before coming in.

Can I wear mascara after Lash Lift?

Yes, after 24 hours. However, we do NOT recommend waterproof mascara.

What should I use for cleaning my face after the lift?

Use mild gel cleanser. Do not use oil-based eye makeup remover or makeup remover wipes. (Oil will strip the perm)

How long will the Lash Lift appointment take?

About 60 minutes. Your lashes may need more time if they are long and coarse or if you add a color enhancer.

How long will the curl last?

About 6 - 8 weeks.

How often can I get a Lash Lift?

Your natural lashes will grow out straight little by little. You can repeat the service after 6-8 weeks.

Can I use my eyelash curler?

You will not need it. Eyelash curlers break off the lashes, so we don't recommend it.

Will I lose any of my lashes because of the lift?

No, however, it is perfectly normal to lose 1 to 5 lashes daily, it happens to all of us. New lashes will grow in place of old ones.

Does the Lash Lift hurt?

No, however, you may experience a little discomfort from the solutions or tint if it gets into your eye. Those with watery or twitchy eyes tend to move the solution and therefore can cause it to slightly burn. We have an eye rinse in case this happens.

Will I have skin irritation?

It's rare for someone to react, but a little redness is normal and slight burning is normal (especially if you have sensitive eyes).

Can I wash my face on the same day as Lift?

Yes but not the eyes!  Wait 24 hours before you get your lashes wet.

Can I use growth serums after the lift?

Yes, you can, just wait 3 days after the lift to start/continue. Please note that certain growth serums can cause your lashes to fall out when you STOP using the serum. Therefore, we suggest using Elleebana's advanced aftercare serum (we sell this in the spa).

Do you TINT my lashes?

Yes. A complimentary tint is included. 

What happens if my lashes are over-curled?

This is due to overprocessing. In this case, we suggest getting your lashes WET as soon as you notice the lashes curling too much. The easiest way to 'calm down your curl' is to get the lash brush we gave you wet and brush thru your lashes. You can also apply organic castor oil. If after a couple of days, you notice your lashes still have not reset, reach out to us!

Do I need an appointment?

Yes! We work by appointment only. You can schedule it online.
