SKIN PREP:

Because of technology of these ingredients, we suggest prepping your skin before your appointment. If you’re not currently using a tyrosinase inhibitor (ie. vitamin C), then please book a time to swing by and grab a FREE SKIN PREP KIT from us at least 10 days prior your appointment (Glossgenius > Product Pickup). Tyrosinaise inhibitors keep your melanocytes calm… which will keep your pigment (melanin) down after the peel! It’s crucial for anyone that pigments easily (Fitzpatricks 4-6, melasma). STOP the use of actives (AHA/BHAS) and retinols 7 days prior.

THINGS TO NOTE:

• Downtime is only 24 hours of no sun, no sweat. 
• Stop the use of actives/retinols 7 days prior and post. 
• Do NOT come to your appointment sunburnt. 
• You might have light flaking around day 3-5. 
• Fitzpatrick 4-6 should be on a tyrosinase inhibitor (2 weeks).

• Laser Pigment Peel may be performed as a series - every 2 weeks for a total of 4-6 peels. 

Our TCA Chemical Peels uses a curated blend of acids, enzymes, peptides, and brighteners to remove dead skin cells and stimulate new skin cell growth. These types of peels dissolve the glue that holds your skin together, therefore you will experience peeling as a result of these peels. So if you’re ok with possibly shedding like a snake, then this is the peel choice for you. It is great for treating acne, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, tone/texture, and pigmentation. These resurfacing Chemical Peels are highly effective but also intense, so you should expect to have some downtime of 3-10 days.
