Nicole is a multi-certified acne specialist who works very closely with all her boot campers to ensure success. We follow Face Reality's award-wining protocol but may deviate to other methods as needed. Face Reality is an award-winning acne company, which focuses on in-clinic treatments and effective at-home routines. Our in-clinic treatments include professional-grade chemical and enzyme peels, extractions, and LED Light Therapy. 

HOW TO GET STARTED:

Book your Initial Appointment with Nicole!

Glossgenius > Acne Boot Camp > Initial (80 minutes)

• Fee - $200 to join our Boot Camp Program! This will be collected at the end of your initial appointment. 
• Initial consultation: We will go over everything that can be contributing to your acne. You will receive a packet explaining everything from your diet, birth control, pore-clogging ingredients, supplements, and lifestyle choices that can help restore your skin. (30-minutes)
• You will gain access to our online Acne Resource Center. 
• First Acne Treatment (50-minutes)
• We will go over your new at-home routine: products, prices, and protocol. (Plan to spend an additional $150+)
• You will receive a FREE ice roller and one box of Clean Skin Club Facial Disposable Towels! 

AFTER YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT:

Book your next Acne Treatment! 

Glossgenius > Acne Boot Camp > Additional 

• It is suggested to book each additional Acne Treatment every 2 weeks when you first start the Acne Boot Camp program. This is because you may go through a ‘purging period' during the first 90 days. The more frequently you come in, the quicker we can clear your acne. After we start to see clearing, we will adjust your appointments to once a month.
• Because of the frequency of appointments, each additional Acne Treatment is only $100. This price is locked in with your Acne Boot Camp Membership. We will collect payment at the end of each appointment.  

AT-HOME ROUTINE:

Your at-home routine will be designed by your esthetician at your Initial appointment.  The estimated cost for your initial at-home products is an additional $150- $300. 

These products should last you 2-3 months. Depending on the progression of your acne clearing, it is highly likely that your routine and products will be adjusted during the program. We HIGHLY suggest purchasing our at-home Medical-grade LED system, Omnilux Clear! Pickup in-store. 

AFTER YOUR CLEAR:

We have a wide range of other esthetic treatments to help with post-inflammatory erythema (redness) and acne scars! Our absolute favorite advanced treatment to help with Acne Scars is Skinpen Microneedling. OTHER INFORMATION:

• Retinol/Retinoids (Diferin, Retin-A, etc.): Stop 14 days before your appointment with us.
• Topical Antibiotics (clindamycin, etc.): Stop 14 days before your appointment with us.
• Accutane: Stop 30 days before your appointment with us. 
• Please make sure to consult your doctor regarding medications. 
• Please view the PDF listed below for guidance on other types of drugs/medications (oral and topical). 

Our Boot Camp can be overwhelming, daunting, and frustrating. Because acne is so complex, you may get worse (purge) before you get better. Extractions are not comfortable but are 1000% necessary in helping you to clear your skin. Nicole will only extract at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
