Microneedling

Microneedling is an invasive procedure used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, pore size, stretch marks, and pigmentation. These micro-needles create tiny micro-injuries in the dermis that stimulate tissue regeneration, also known as collagen induction therapy. 

Who makes a good candidate?

Skin health is imperative. We will not perform this aggressive treatment on you if your skin isn't ready to receive it. Therefore, if you have active acne (more than 10 pimples) or a broken skin barrier (sunburn, recent laser treatment, etc.), you will be required to get your skin under control first. If you've also never used 'actives' like acids or retinol before, you will be required to start using our Skin-Prep Kit first. What you need to know!

1. If you are NOT a client of ours, please book a FREE Virtual Consultation with us first. During this appointment, we will determine if you are a candidate for microneedling or not. We will ask you about your skincare routine, if you have any issues or concerns, and make sure you understand the dedication and commitment that is required from you.
2. Schedule a time to pick up your complimentary Skin-Prep Skincare Kit with/ instructions. For new clients or clients with weak or damaged skin barriers, you must be using this at-home kit for a minimum of 3 weeks before your first microneedling appointment. Your esthetician will determine if any facial services or longer skin prep is necessary. 
3. Book your Microneelding appointment using Glossgenius. 
4. Come in for your appointment! Your 80-minute appointment:  We start with a double cleanse, followed by light microdermabrasion to thoroughly exfoliate the top layer of dead skin. We then apply a professional numbing cream so there is minimal to no discomfort during the needling. The process of microneedling is quick, it takes approximately 10-15 minutes. We will then either apply an enzyme peel or a healing mask, depending on your skin. We'll immediately place you under RED LIGHT LED Therapy to help aid in recovery and boost your collagen production. We finish with applying our company’s proven recovery oil  - a critical part of protecting and restoring your newly damaged skin.  *You’ll be given a Post-Procedure Skincare Kit with instructions to take home with you! 
5. Follow your at-home instructions!! Your skin will be highly sensitive and red. No sun and no sweating for the first 72 hours. Your skin will take about 7-10 days to heal fully. 
6. Not required, but suggested - Book your follow-up FREE Virtual Consultation: 2-3 weeks after your appointment. 

How many treatments are necessary?

For clients who want to try microneedling or need a 'touch-up,' we offer individual appointments for $399. However, results usually start improving after THREE (3) treatments, booked 4-6 weeks apart. We also have a 'Major Fade' Package which combines ONE Microneedling treatment + ONE 'New Skin' Chemical Peel Facial.

Other:

ACCUTANE - For clients taking Accutane (Isotretinoin), you must wait SIX (6) months after you STOP taking it to come in for microneedling.
